Paradise Theatre Bassist, Paul "Biggfigg" Knutsen
Holding down the bottom of the Paradise Theatre sound is bassist and backing vocalist Paul "Biggfigg" Knutsen. Paul is very animated, high-energy and a huge part of the show. He amazes the audience as he slides into the sweet notes and makes complex Styx material look easy. Paul's on-stage prowess feeds the energy that makes our live shows a blast for all.

Paul has provided bass and backing vocals for countless Northern California artists for 22 years.

Paul also performs with Waterloo - an extravagant and theatrical ABBA tribute.

His extensive and diverse live performance and studio resume includes working with artists:
Caron Vikre, David Houston, Sons & Daughters, Elaina Powell, Shelly Streeter, Bill Stevens, Peter Oliva and the Murder of Crows, and Toad Stool Theater.

Some of Paul's Bass Influences
Pino Palladino, Tony Levin, Chuck Rainey, Bob Daisley, Michael Rhodes, Dee Murray, Larry Tagg, Bruce Thomas...the list goes on and on and on.
