Cameron
Landers has been a lead vocalist and front man in live bands and stage
shows for more than 25 years.
Much like an
impressionist spends his time perfecting his voice to imitate famous
people, Cameron has spent years developing the capability to sing exactly
like many different well known singers.
In
Paradise Theatre's high-energy stage shows, Cameron recreates the impressive vocal
style of Dennis DeYoung on well known hits such as Lady, The
Best Of Times, Suite Madame Blue, Babe, Mr. Roboto, Lorelai and Come
Sail Away. He shifts gears and perfectly imitates the voice of Tommy Shaw
in other great Styx hits such as Blue Collar Man, Too Much Time
On My Hands, Lights and Fooling Yourself. He also does the low, evil voice of JY
in Snowblind and Miss America.

Other
singers Cameron can imitate include Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Paul Rodgers
of Bad Company, Don Henley and Glen Frey of The Eagles, Ian Gillian of
Deep Purple, Mickey Thomas of Elvin
Bishop and Jefferson Starship fame, Jimi Jamison of Survivor, Brad Delp
of Boston, Steve Winwood of Traffic, Robert Cray, Joe Walsh, Robert Palmer, Peter Frampton and a host of others,
mostly from the 70s and 80s decades of Rock music. These
singers and their bands have been Cameron's biggest influences as a lead
vocalist and live performer.
"It's
all about the crowd", Cameron says. "You know they're having fun when you
see them mouthing the words with you."
Cameron
has formed several bands over the years in a variety of styles from hard
rock to blues.
A
songwriter and lead vocalist for decades, Cameron has been a member
of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers as both a
songwriter and music publisher. Two of his original songs were aired on
nationally recognized radio in the late 1980s.
